"The Baby Jumped In My Stomach"

So, a couple of weeks back, I went with my aunt to get surgery on her hand (Praise Jesus for covering her with his precious blood during the surgery..it was a success!)

It was about 8 am and my mom and I were sitting in the waiting room.

About 4 feet in front of us in the aisle of chairs across the way sat this older lady who was just full of joy. She was dressed really cute. She was sitting a couple of seats down from her husband who was quiet most of the time. They came to support her granddaughter in surgery.

She kept on staring at us. Then started to ask us questions about who we are related too, where are we from, "who are your people" (as most black elderly country folk do...idk..maybe that's a cross cultural thing lol)

But she was from the city we group up around and she was very sweet. Sometimes, I didn't understand what she was saying, (you know, not to be rude, but she was elderly. you know) so I just smiled big and said yes mam most of the time...hoping my smile could brighten her day while also alleviating some of the miscommunication in the conversation.

Then she said, "The Baby Jumped in My Stomach!"

At first I was like, well, that's not right because you're wayyy to old to be pregnant, but you're an older woman so I will just smile and be courteous and not question.

The I felt the Holy Spirit say to me, "She recognized Me."

He said again,

"She recognizes Me in You."

Then she confirmed it. The lady said, Just like John leaped in Elizabeth's belly when he was around Mary and witnessed and could feel the power of the Christ child in his mother's womb!

WOW! What epicness, that John, not even one day old into this world, recognized and leaped for joy and the glorious presence of Christ in his mother's womb.

Luke 1:41-44New International Version (NIV)

41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
She continued to say that I was intimated and had the light of Christ in me. She was saying that the Christ in her recognized the Christ in me. She then to tell me and my mom briefly about John leaping in the womb.  She started weeping tears of joy. Mind you, we are in a hospital waiting room, super stuffy and quiet, but praise the Lord God's power moves wherever The Spirit leads!
My mom was absolutely overjoyed! She began to tell this lady (not bragging, it's just my mom is so proud and absolutely in love and has prayed and sought God constantly that I would be a women after God's on heart) and began to tell the lady how much I hunger and thirst after the Lord. How I aim to seek his voice in all I do. And how by her telling me that, encouraged me immensely
The lady started quietly weeping more. She began to sing praises to God and pray and thank him. She also began to speak in tongues. It was so intimate and beautiful.  (Although I don't care if we were loud because God was moving, I'm thankful that our session was quiet and kept intimate between the three of us in that waiting room, so satan couldn't have a chance to come interrupt us)
My mom then walked over to where the lady was sitting beside us and my mom began praising the Lord and thanking him and crying and speaking in tongues. It was so absolutely beautiful. How God just sends believers together unexpectedly.
At first, satan tried to send his fiery darts in my head to say, "people are looking at you weird. You look stupid worshiping God in a waiting room. Just be 'normal' and watch 'The View' ' I even entertained him for a little bit.  but then I was like NO, i don't care what people think of me. I will risk it all for my savior (and what the heck are people's opinions..and we weren't bothering anyone or 'disturbing the peace' we were quiet and to be honest..we were creating an atmosphere of peace in that room if you want to be reeeaalll.
The lady, my mom, and I were so immensely blessed by that divine encounter and I'm so grateful. I also went over and prayed for her myself. It was awesome. She told me to pray that her husband will come to Christ. and honesty, I haven't prayed for that since then,,but tonight, I will write down her petition in my prayer journal and uplift it to the Father.
My mom was so encouraged so deeply encouraged by this encounter.
When you abide in the secret place of the Most High, he will blow your mind :)

Love you guys...Good night!
