The Power of Being an Influencer

   

  I remember it like it was yesterday. It was noon day in 2015 and I was laying in my guest bed in Córdoba, Argentina. I was a recent graduate at The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's of Science in Radio- Television-Film with my specialty in screenwriting and I answered the divine calling I felt to do mission work. I have always loved traveling, creating and showing love and kindness to others. I felt in my heart that I was to start a blog when I got back home. Little did I know the grand journey that I would go on by making my brand of StacieCherill.com.

Share Your Story

     I love the power of social media and how I was one of the first generation of teens to grow up in the new social media age (I was a senior in high school when Instagram became popular.) I was inspired by a popular Christian blogger and the media empire that she created. I loved the idea that I could share my stories to people all around the world and make a living from it. I also studied advertising through social media the summer of 2013 in Hong Kong. I even worked the with Koren skin care line DewyTree . My passion is writing and I knew my story, one of them being my struggle with depression, could inspire hope to a generation. Fitness influencer, Heather Matthews, used her former addiction story to inspire women to be confident and push past any obstacles in order to live their best life. There is no shame in your story, but power. There are so many communities on the internet who need to hear your voice and to be inspired by what you overcame. How To Relieve Stress for Free

    

We have all been in quarantine and have experienced something that will go down in history books. Many have lost loved ones, jobs, and their sense of security as result of this pandemic. I don't know about you but my stress levels have been crazy high during this time, I've had so many family members get Covid (one who I was a caretaker for). Thankfully they have all recovered but I had to find an escape from the craziness of the world.  I'm going to tell you some fun things I've been implementing in my life. Best part, they are all free!

  Dancing

  I love to dance. Dancing is so freeing and it brings me so much joy. According to Chartwell.com, "[dancing] can reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety,* according to a study in The Arts in Psychotherapy." https://chartwell.com/en/blog/2019/07/8-ways-dancing-boosts-your-physical-and-mental-health. 

  Dancing is even mentioned in the Bible,  "Let them praise His name with dancing." (Psalm 149:3). I love to go on YouTube and play my favorite songs and get up and groove. Dancing is also an amazing workout and you are going to feel great after your session!

How to Level Up Your Life

 

 

    We all get to that certain point in our life where want a change. I am in my late twenties and I am at the point were I am ready and planning for change in my life. Whether it's upgrading my skin care routine by investing in professional facials, changing my eating habits, or making sure my mental health is a priority, there are so many ways to upgrade your life.

 I've had my car (who I named Patrick) since 2012. It is a super reliable car but it is a coup sports car. As I prepare for my next phase of my life I would love an SUV and to be a home owner. I am planning, researching and investing in order to make those purchases comfortably . You may be wanting to move to a new city, apply for a new job, or even get ready to make the move of buying a new home. God wants great things for us and we can move on to bigger and better things by planning, saving, and putting your money where it matters. Scripture tells us to be wise with our money so we can build toward our goals. We can enjoy life but if we want to make a major change that requires finances to obtain that goal, there are some things we are going to have to sacrifice, like maybe making your own coffee at home instead of spending $40 a week on your coffee at a popular chain.

Remember, sacrifice is temporary, but the reward will be great.

The Clock is Ticking Saints

We cannot afford to take each second and each moment for granted if we want to become heavenly enchanted. Jesus is coming so much sooner than we think in the blink of an eye. Our job is to be yea also ready like the holy bible portrays and says. Because the clock is ticking saints which is our cue to not grow weary in our wait.
