Stacie Cherill : If You are SAD This Holiday....

What has God done for your life?
God has brought me through so much this year.
It will be my first Christmas holiday without my precious grandmother,

Christmas over 5 years ago with my Nanny
I will cherish these memories forever

I miss her with all my heart,
but I know she is with Jesus now.
I know I may feel sad at times,
but it is so good to know that God is the healer and comforter of my soul.

I know that this life is temporary
and all the heartaches and trails are ordained so I can lean on and know Jesus Christ
so although I will miss my Nanny greatly
I know I made her proud and that she knows I am on Earth doing my Father's business
while she is praising The Lord

So this holiday season
you may feel sad,
but Jesus is your comfort
You are so loved
and you are never forgotten
I hope you never forget this.

Prayer
Dear Lord,
be our joy and our strength this holiday season. You are all we need and you give us every reason to rejoice. May we rejoice in you and with you. Lord comfort us who have lost loved ones. We know that those who die in Christ have eternal life, may we rest in this comfort. Also, may we preach your Gospel so our unsaved loved ones and the world may know you. In Jesus' name. Amen!
