you are so good
you see, I'm learning how to truly trust you.
to truly let go--and know that you are God.
to truly know that you will never let me go.
when the cares of life try to overwhelm me, you silence them and say
"my daughter I got you...
rest My Princess."
and in that moment all my fears are calmed
you are my shining star,
my light
my breath when I feel mine fleeting away
I surrender all to you
because you are here to stay
and you are good.
very good.
