Shining The Light in Dark Times

I know more than anyone how tough life can be. It’s like you get hit once and then again &again afterwards. I know how frustrating that is. It’s like God has betrayed you, as if life has betrayed you. But I want you to know that God has your back. If you are in the tunnel right now, you must go through it. God has a purpose and plan for it. Life sucks a lot sometimes. And truth be told we can’t pray away the bad from our lives because truthfully bad things to happen to good people. But we trust the word of God when it says that all things work together for the good of those who love God who are called according to his purpose.

If the world was all good – lollipops and gumdrops, how is the love of God suppose to shine through? It is the hard times that allow us to know the glory and goodness of God. When the waves keep hitting you and it feels as if there’s no relief in sight, keep the faith and know that it is God’s plan where you are. Even  if it feels horrendous. We must trust him. I know the nights are dark and the tears fall – but that’s when the stars shine the brightest. Don’t turn away from God but turn to  him. Take a deep breath and let it out and trust that God is on your side. He will never leave or forsake you and he’s always by your side.
