Not Your Own Way

 

  Sometimes we think we know it all but it’s much easier to submit our will to Christ than to try to do life on our own. Jesus is the way, the truth , and the light. He’s everything. He knows your beginning from the end. Just think about all God has seen, he was never born and he is never going to end. So it should be easy to trust such a powerful being. But we don’t! Sometimes we trust the news, or medicine, or in ourselves. And of course none of those things are bad but we must trust Almighty God above it all.


     There is tons of chaos and sickness going on in this world so we must lean on the power of Christ. All other ground is sinking sand. If we truly trust that God has our best interest at heart we can truly rest in him. I know the times that I’ve tried to plan out my life it just never would work out. God has a plan that is infinitely greater than any thing we can think of. He is the ultimate creator, he’s the ultimate architect, let him design your life.

   All things work together for your good. Jesus had to submit to God.  He may not have understood everything he was going to have to endure  but he knew the glory that was going to lay ahead. We must do things by faith and not by sight. We we must take that leap of faith we must jump into the deep end and only then can we see the glory of God. When we trust God then can we see how awesome he is. But most people don’t want to step out and trust him because it’s really scary and most of the times it does not make sense. But God does not need our human logic he just wants our human obedience.
